Little Lucky Dog
Boarding and Daycare for Small and Senior dogs
14th September 2018:
Little Lucky Dog has been open a little over 2 years. In that time it has grown steadily and we believe that having a separate space for small and seniors is a good thing.
However, the financial reality is that Little Lucky Dog has not been able to pay its own rent and payroll all year round, and has been supported by our other operations. This means we have delayed some projects.
We have made the hard decision to temporarily merge Little Lucky Dog back in to the main space for Fall and Winter, and reopen in the Spring. We will keep the same small and senior groups, same schedule and play time, just next door at Lucky Dog South. We understand that some clients bring their dogs to Little Lucky Dog only because it provides a more relaxed environment and we apologizes for the need to make this change.
Operations will continue as they are until Friday September 7th, and be merged after that. This does not affect our Central location.
We use the same quality play program we are known for. There are energetic groups, and the others that are more relaxed.
To qualify for the senior area a dog needs to be over 7 years old and benefit from low activity levels. An older dog that is still very activity will be placed in one of the regular play groups.
At Lucky Dog, we are being proactive and require the H3N2 canine influenza vaccine, and recommend the H3N8 vaccine. Learn more about our vaccine policy HERE
