We at Lucky Dog understand that some of our employees are working at our Resorts part time, as a summer job or for additional income while attending high school or college. However, for those employees interested in advancement within the dog daycare/boarding industry, opportunities exist at Lucky Dog. Our business is growing, and we need strong kennel leads, managers and office staff to grow with us!

Our business is only 4 years old, but we are proud that many staff members have been with us over two years and several have been with us since the early days of Lucky Dog!

At Lucky Dog we take the care of our canine guests very seriously! We understand that can only be done with trained and caring staff.

• All new employees are given one-on-one instruction with our trainer in canine pack behavior, and a written test on basic canine care procedures at Lucky Dog.
• Our staff are offered training courses through the ABKA, at no cost to the employee, and encouraged to learn more about dogs by reading the books in our extensive canine library.
• We sponsor employee seminars on canine behavior with expert instructors.
• We hold frequent staff meetings to discuss employee issues and encourage suggestions on how to make Lucky Dog a better place for our clients, and their four-legged friends.
• We allow each employee to give a list of 5 "Family, Friends and Fidos" who they would like to receive a 10% discount on boarding or playgroup as long as the employee works at Lucky Dog!
• Our program "One Paw Up!" rewards our staff for compliments earned from our clients or other staff members.
• Lucky Dog offers a competitive wage and earned paid vacation days (non-commissioned employees only).
• Each employee receives 3 days of sick time after they have been with us for 6 months.
• Employees are allowed 3 paid vacation days a year after being with us for 6 months. Management positions earn even more vacation! 
• And of course, everyone gets their birthday off, WITH pay!
