Whats going on?

To celebrate the grand opening of our cafepress store Lucky Dog is announcing a photo contest. 13 lucky pooches (or kitties, etc) will get a chance to get featured in our Lucky Dog Calendar 2011, which will be available in the cafepress store in time for Cristmas purchases. The first prize winner will be featured on the cover and receive a free day of daycare. Runners Up 2 and 3 will receive a free day of daycare and will be able to select the month their pet will appear on. But do not fret if your baby doesn't make the calendar - there is still the chance he could be featured on a greeting card – also available in the cafepress store. To enter, please submit a photograph (as big as possible in terms of pixels) to astrid@bealuckydog.com with the subject line "calendar photo contest" – deadline 30 September 2010. Also, include a little bio for your pet, or a funny anecdote. Now take some pictures of your pooches or find your favorite photograph. A little tip - me may need some "seasonal" pictures for December, October, April (Easter) etc. Lucky Dog Apprentices and Employees are not eligible for this contest. There will be a separate opportunity for you!

We send out a Newsletter once a month to our email list, with articles and coupons. That list is also used for alerts and notifications. We do limit the amount of email we send to 1 or 2 a month. If you want to know more about what is going on then become a fan on Facebook. We try to update that 4 or 5 times a week. There are stories, pictures, videos, etc.
